Beignets, is a type of fritter, or deep-fried pastry traditional New Orleans– They fry up crispy, chewy, and golden brown! Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.

My kids used to order beignets from Italian restaurant. Now they can have it anytime they want by asking me.

Today I will share my homemade beignets recipe, Its delicious and tasty.

Arrange the ingredients and follow my directions, Enjoy.

Servings for: 4-6 People Prep Time: 1 Hour

INGREDIENTS:-

3/4 cup water

3 1/2 teaspoons yeast

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

3 tablespoons melted butter

1/4 cup sugar + 2 teaspoons more.

4 cups flour

1/2 teaspoons salt.

For the topping powder sugar Ana hot chocolate sauce for dipping.

DIRECTIONS:-

Step 1:-

In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water let it stand for 5 minutes. Then Add sugar, salt, eggs, evaporated milk, and blend well. Mix in 4 cups of the flour and beat until smooth if u need more flour add until you get a smooth dough. Cover and chill for about 1 hour.

Step 2:-

Roll out dough 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 2 1/2 inch squares.

Step 3:-

Lower the dough squares, 3-4 at a time, In to a hot oil Then Fry in 350 degree F (180 degrees C).

Step 4:-

Fry until golden brown on both sides, flipping as needed, 2-3 minutes more.

Step 5:-

Transfer the beignets into paper towels to drain.

Step 6:-

Add some powder sugar on the top when it’s hot, also you can dip the beignets in a hot melting chocolate.

NOTE:-

You need a deep fry for this recipe. Because if your hot oil temperature is off, your fried dough will be too.

Because beignets are best eaten hot, I highly suggest serving these as soon as possible! Once they’ve sat, they become.
