These chicken kebabs marinated in a tangy blend of yogurt, lemon, garlic and spices are delicious. One of my all-time favorite recipes for entertaining, these chicken kebabs are marinated in a tangy Middle Eastern blend of Greek yogurt, lemon, garlic and spices, then grilled on skewers until golden brown.
Servings For : 2 – 4 People Prep Time : 40 Minutes Plus 4 hours to marinate.
HOW TO MAKE MIDDLE EASTERN CHICKEN KEBABS Begin by combining the marinade ingredients in a small bowl.
2 chicken breast
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoons black pepper
1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
1/2 tablespoons onion powder
paprika 1/2 tablespoons
cumin 1/2 teaspoon
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoons Goya
1/2 cup plan Greek yogurt
1 tablespoons tomato paste
2 fresh garlic
1 fresh lemon juice
Using the knife cut the meat into bite-sizes.
In a small bowl add all the ingredients together salt, black pepper, garlic powder onion powder, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, red flakes , Goya , yogurt, lemon juice and olive oil, mix all the ingredients together really good and sit aside.
Add the chicken to the mixture and let it sit in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes.
After you take out the chicken from the fridge, thread onto skewers alternating occasionally with the red onions, and red orange or green bell pepper.
Place the chicken kebabs on a baking sheet lined with foil, and then spoon or brush the marinade over top, making sure to coat well.
Preheat the oven to medium-high heat, grill the kebabs until golden brown. As you can see, the yogurt makes a thick marinade that adheres to the chicken and creates a flavorful crust as it cooks.
Serve the chicken kebabs immediately with pita bread, tahini rice salad Grilled vegetables if you like as onion bell pepper tomato zucchini, like it did.

- If you are using a outside grill *Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. To grease the grill, lightly dip a wad of paper towels in vegetable oil and using tongs, carefully rub over the grates several times until glossy and coated. Grill the chicken kebabs until golden brown and cooked through, turning skewers occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes. Transfer the skewers to a platter and serve.
