Fried mushrooms it’s so good and delicious so easy to make in just a few steps. It’s good for appetizers. These fried mushrooms are coated in a Parmesan breadcrumbs mixture that makes it so crispy, then deep-fried to golden brown perfection. It’s perfect for parts and snacks.
What is a mushroom?
Mushrooms are not plants! Recently it has been discovered that they are more closely related to animals. But at one time, Fungi, including mushrooms, were believed to be close relatives of plants so much of their nomenclature (names for parts of the mushroom) are close to the names used for plant parts. It is the fruit (like an apple) of the mushroom “body” and contains mushroom “seeds” called spores. The body of the mushroom is the called mycelium and its individual parts are microscopic.
HOW TO CLEAN MUSHROOMS?
The best way to clean mushrooms is to use a damp paper towel to gently rub each mushroom.
- Mushroom I used large size
- 1 Cup flour
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- Panko crumbs 1 cup
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoons salt
- 1/2 tablespoons black pepper
- paprika 1/2 tablespoons
- garlic powder 1/2 tablespoons
- onion powder 1/2 tablespoons
- Italian seasoning 1/2 tablespoons
- 2 cups Oil for frying
Clean the mushroom by wiping them with a damp paper towel. then season the mushroom with a little amount of salt and pepper.
In a bowl or a plastic bag add the flour.
In a medium bowl whisk, the 3 eggs then add the rest of the salt, black pepper, all paprika, garlic powder, and the herbs. Then sit aside.
In another bowl or for an easier way add them in a plastic bag ( breadcrumbs, Panko and Parmesan).
Now toss the mushroom in the flour, then egg wash mixture, then the breadcrumbs mixture.
Add your oil to a pot, when it’s hot, add the mushroom and fry until golden brown. You can also air fry the mushroom on 180 for 20 minutes.
