Garlic Grilled Shrimp Skewers Recipe

Garlic Grilled Shrimp is perfect for summer so simple and easy to make takes only 15 minutes. Because shrimp is so tender, be sure and very important not to over-marinate or overcook.

Note:- If the skewers you are using are made from wood like mine, then you’ll want to soak them so they don’t catch fire from the grill (or oven, or broiler) before the meat is finished cooking. Just for few minutes.

Servings For : 2-4 People Prep Time : 15 Minutes

Ingredients:-

  • 12 oz jumbo shrimp
  • teaspoon salt 1
  • teaspoon black pepper 1
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • One teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons chili powder

Garlic Butter:-

  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoons lemon juice

How to make Garlic Grilled Shrimp?

DIRECTIONS:-

Step 1:-

Clean and pat to dry your shrimp.

Step 2:-

Prep heat your grill to medium.

Step 3:-

Thread shrimp on skewers, Combine ingredients in a bowl and whisk. Add them to shrimp and Allow shrimp to marinate at least 10 minutes.

Step 4:-

Grill 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skewers or you can leave them on then brush the shrimp with garlic butter and place in a serving bowl.

I like to serve my grilled shrimp with my favorite spices shrimp and rice. You can also serve it with mashed potatoes.

To make the shrimp and rice :-

INGREDIENTS:-

  • 1/2 pound shrimp medium-size
  • 2 cups rice
  • 4 cups water
  • chopped jalapeño 1
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/2 tablespoons turmeric

DIRECTIONS:-

Wash and dry the shrimp.

Step 1:-

In a medium-hot cooking pot pour the oil add the chopped onion and jalapeños Let them cook for about 5 minutes then add the red pepper flakes salt black pepper, turmeric and cumin let it cook for few minutes.

Step 2:-

Then add the shrimp Then stir it together.

Step 3:-

Add the 2 cups of rice and the 4 cups of water, cover it and let it cook for about 15 minutes or till the rice fully cooked. ( stir the rice gently).
