Kofta is a Middle Eastern dish made from ground lamb or beef mixed with onions, garlic, and spices. The meat mixture is shaped on skewers , and then grilled and served with pita, salads, dips, and sauces or over rice.

There’s a lot of memory of kofta kebab goes back to my dad’s house on Friday when all the love ones get to visit and my dad make he’s famous kebab ( Şiş köfte ). There are more than a dozen ways to prepare kofta kebab. This kofta kabab recipe is easy and fairly authentic.
Let me show you step-by-step how easy it is to make kofta, and I have a bunch of ideas below for what you can serve along.
1 lb ground meat
1/2 onion I used red onion
1/2 bunch parsley
2 garlic gloves
salt 1 tablespoons
black pepper 1 tablespoons
1 tablespoons 7 spice
paprika 1/2 teaspoons
1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
1/2 tablespoons ground cardamom
In food processor add your onion parsley and garlic then sit aside.
Now, add your food processor add the ground meat and spices. Run processor. Scrape sides of processor and run again until the meat mixture is well combined.
Remove the meat mixture from the food processor and place in a large bowl.
I like to place my kofta in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes before I work on it.
Step 5: –
Now for this step you will need a bowl with ice water to make your Hand wet And easy to shape your kebab or onion water.
After you take out the kofta from the fridge shape it on your skewers, just like the picture long way on the skewers, Or use your hand you can also make it as a ball. Step 7:- Preheat the oven to medium-high heat, grill the kebabs until cooked . As you can see.
Serve the kofta kebabs immediately with pita bread, tahini Grilled vegetables if you like as onion bell pepper tomato.

Place crushed or minced garlic (with salt), tahini paste, and lime juice (or lemon juice to the bowl of a food processor. Blend.
You can also make some vegetables kebab skewers ( red onion, pepper tomato zucchini).
If you are using a outside grill *Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. To grease the grill, lightly dip a wad of paper towels in vegetable oil and using tongs, carefully rub over the grates several times until glossy and coated. Grill the chicken kebabs until golden brown and cooked through, turning skewers occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes. Transfer the skewers to a platter and serve. If you’re using wooden skewers, be sure to soak them for 30 minutes to 1 hour before using so they don’t catch on fire.
