Meat Ingredients

  1. 1/2 lbs Ground Beef
  2. Handful of Parsley
  3. 1 Onion, quartered
  4. 3 Garlic cloves
  5. 1 tbsp All Spice seasoning
  6. Salt & Pepper to taste
  7. 2 Potatoes, diced Tomato Sauce 1 can of Tomato sauce
  8. 3 Garlic cloves, chopped
  9. 1 Onion, chopped
  10. 1 tbsp Pomegranate Molasses
  11. Tomato Paste 1 tablespoon
  12. Salt & Pepper to taste
  13. 1 tsp Allspice seasoning
  14. 1 tablespoon Olive oil+ 2 tablespoons corn oil
  15. Water about 4 cups or more enough to cover the meatballs + 1 chicken bouillon or you can use vegetable stock


Step 1:-

In a food processor, add the parsley, onions, and garlic mix together until finely chopped.

Step 2:-

Add this to the ground beef along with the seasonings salt black pepper, and all spices. Mix together very well. Create about 17 even meatballs.

Step 3:-

In a pan, add the corn oil and olive oil then the meatballs cook on both sides until lightly browned on medium heat. The meatballs are not meant to cook fully at this stage; just get some nice color, sit aside.

Step 4:-

In the same pan add some more olive oil then add the chopped potatoes, Season with salt and pepper. Get a nice crust on them and cover with a lid until they are semi-tender. Then, set those aside as well.

Step 5:-

Puree the tomato sauce In the same pan, add olive oil along with the onions and garlic. Saute until fragrant then add the 1 tablespoons tomato paste, salt, pepper, and allspice, then add the water followed by the chicken bouillon cook for about 5 minutes.

Step 6:-

After 5 minutes add the meatballs, Bring this to a simmer for 20 minutes covered then uncover for 10 min to slightly thicken the sauce. Enjoy with rice or even pita bread!
