Shrimp Teriyaki Recipe With Rice

Shrimp teriyaki is my favorite Seafood Recipes and today I will share my way to make the best homemade shrimp teriyaki.

Servings For : 2 People Prep Time : 30 Minutes

Dry ingredients:-

Raw shrimp large size Keep the tail.

flour 1 cup

1 tablespoons garlic powder

1 tablespoons onion powder

paprika 1 tablespoons

dried thyme 1 tablespoons

1 tablespoons cornstarch

baking soda 1 teaspoon

salt 1 teaspoon

black pepper 1 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoons cayenne pepper

For the buttermilk:-

1 cup butter milk (1 cup whole milk+1 tablespoons vinegar)

garlic powder 1 teaspoon

onion powder 1 teaspoon

black pepper 1 teaspoon

salt 1 teaspoon

One egg

To make the sauce :-

You always can use the ready sauce from any grocery store, or you can make it at home.

ingredients:-

1 cup soy sauce

1 cup water

3 tablespoons honey

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoons cornstarch

3 tablespoons honey

1 Tablespoon minced garlic

1/2 teaspoon ginger paste

DIRECTIONS:-

Step 1:-

I’m using raw shrimp large size, get the shrimp ready. If it’s not fresh, take them out of the freezer and place them in cold water for 20 minutes. Then dry them with kitchen paper.

Step 2:-

In a large bowl combined all the dry ingredients, add the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt , pepper, paprika, baking soda, cornstarch, thyme, and cayenne pepper. Give it a good mix then sit aside.

Step 3:-

In a large bowl add the milk, garlic powder ,onion powder, salt, pepper, and 1 egg. Beat all the mixture together and sit aside.

Step 4:-

Take the shrimp one at the time add the shrimp to the milk mixture then add them to the flour mixture, repeat this step again.

Step 5:-

Repeat until all the shrimp are done.

Step 6:-

Place oil in a frying pan over medium heat, and fry the shrimp until golden brown.

Shrimp Teriyaki Recipe With Rice

Meanwhile make the sauce:-

Step 1:-

On medium heat add to your pot 1 cup water follow by 1 cup soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, add the 3 tablespoons honey and 1/3 cup brown sugar the last thing add cornstarch in 1 some water give it a mix then add it to the sauce, let it cook until the sauce starts to thickness.

Teriyaki sauce, Pour the homemade soy sauce over the fried shrimp and continue to heat until the liquid turns into a sticky glaze. Or you can only add some of the sauce on top of the shrimp.

Serves with white rice, or noodles and top with some green onion, and sesame seeds.
