Spicy Shrimp And Rice Recipe

Servings for: 2-4 Prep Time: 30 Minutes

INGREDIENTS:-

1/2 pound shrimp medium-size

2 cups rice

4 cups water

1 chopped jalapeño

small chopped onion 1

salt 1 tablespoons

1/2 tablespoons black pepper

1 tablespoons cumin

1 tablespoons red pepper flakes

1/3 cup oil

1/2 tablespoons turmeric

DIRECTIONS:-

Note : Wash and dry the shrimp.

Step 1:-

In a medium hot cooking pot pour the oil add the chopped onion and jalapeños Let them cook for about 5 minutes then add the red pepper flakes salt black pepper, turmeric and cumin let it cook for few minutes.

Step 2:-

Then add the shrimp Then stir it together.

Step 3:-

Add the 2 cups of rice and the 4 cups of water, cover it and let it cook for about 15 minutes or tell the rice fully cooked. ( stir the rice gently).
